I Hope, you will find the archival information presented here to be interesting, informative, and a fun read.

The construction of this website dedicated to Dan Gorski’s legacy, has required on-going hours of research to identify and inventory his years of work. Reassembling documentation has been difficult, due to shortly after Dan’s death our home in Houston was flooded by Hurricane Harvey. Paintings, sculptures, photos, brochures, files, unlabeled slides, and other records were either damaged or destroyed. Of particular significance was the loss of Dan’s slides, which he had spent decades organizing and labeling.

Fortunately, all was not lost, conservators were able to clean, re-stretch and restore several works to their original condition, among these were a number of his large canvases. Thankfully, many other important works were in our Santa Fe home.
